I'll keep my eye out for you around here even though we're more than 4 hours away from Lafayette. We drive by there from time to time on our way to Nawlins' so we could help out on getting a car over to you.

JB does have some good info on GMPP. I'd also recommend Fichtner Chevrolet in Laurel, MT. They offer killer deals on GMPPs (ask for Dennis and tell him the Nowaks sent you there) and on parts.

Found an 08' Black XLR (non V) 70 miles north of here at a Cadillac dealer but it has the cashmere interior...will be making the trip sometime this week just to drive it and see if that is what he really wants...there is an 08' Black XLR-V 135 miles west of here but they are asking $53k...If the f-n-law likes the XLR after driving it, he may just spend the money for the V-series that is west of here ...

Well you are taking the correct steps..first the test drive and then if you like it ...and want the black interior...then negotiate the deal.

I'd play a little bit to see if you can get the price down on the closer of the two...(if the car is what you want)

Usually with preowned cars..the dealers have a ton of markup and profit....
