Rear Valance Exhaust Heat Shield Removal

Is it possible to remove the exhaust heat shield from the rear valance panel without removing the panel from the car? I need to replace mine. I accidentally removed the finish on the shield buffing out some scratches on the panel above it. I have a new part on order and wanted to install it myself, but not if it means removing the valance.

I see there are two bolts holding it on and read that there are 4 additional clips which I can't see holding it in place. Do those clips just pop off or do they stay in place? Do they need to be replaced also? Easy or difficult to to remove and replace?

Part is the same for every C7 and model, but 2019 Base Stingray MN7.
