HI there,
Yes, this is a subjective thing based on availability.
The normal sizes are fronts : 265/40ZR17 Rears 295/35ZR18
I have used the following on ZO6 without issue.
Front : 275/40ZR17 Rear 295/30ZR18
The fronts are 10mm wider but are widely available.
The rears I could not obtain in 35 aspect ratio so I went to a slightly smaller 30 aspect ratio.
These are the closest I could obtain for my customer and not create rubbing issues or inaccurate ABS or speedometer issues.

I have a 2003 Z06 and have been trying to find tires. I have Michelin Pilot Sport 2 tires on it now, 265/40 zr17 in the front and 295/35 zr18 in the rear on the original wheels. I can purchase Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires in size 265/40 zr17 for the front but this tire is not available in 295/35 zr18 for the rear. This tire is available in size 285/35 zr18 and there is only a 0.2 inch difference in diameter compared to the 295/35 zr18 tire. Do any of you folks see any problem with using the 265/zr17 tires on the front and the 285/35 zr 18 tires on the rear? Thank you.
Paul,
I'm a little late with this but thanks for the information. If faced with with a emergency on the road, would mixing one of these with the oem sizes cause issue getting me home?
Thanks,
Bob
...Yes. Even the same size new tire mixed with a worn tire can cause issues with the ABS/Traction control, etc as the tires will be rotating at slightly different speeds. Always replace in axle pairs.would mixing one of these with the oem sizes cause issue getting me home?
