Im at 3400 and the order is broadcast for production....so for fun..i thought I dbroadcast that information here.

I should have the Vin in a few days from the salesman whose off on fridays...

    I anticipate a vin # 10600 to 11500 but thats just a guess...

Guessing is part if the fun ordering a long awaited often delayed new corvette first year.

I dont think I d do first year again but then again who could anticipate a UAW strike at GM for forty days and then a christmas vacation...then a world wide pandemic etc for months on end.

...Im happily at status 3400 with a tpw of 9/7/2020

    Happy labor day!

Rob...its hard to believe that was almost five years ago. Seems like just yesterday.

I hope all is going well with you my friend.

Post up some photos of you, your beautiful bride and of course your torch red c7 z51 ..

How many miles on that car? 45K? Any issues or has it been seamless an ownership experience?

    Im production number 9627 ...

Thursday they were at 9303 at the end of the shift.

    Friday should be around 9400...(90 a day/ single 8 hr shift )

Supposedly tuesday after labor day the factory is going double shift at 180 a day ...

If thats the case...and its only because Ive been waiting 15 months...lol...wedsneday with the double shift production (180) in place..Thursday if on a single shift production daily build..(90)

9627 sounds like a lucky number.

If you simply remove the sc6 in the screen name so it just reads JB that would be appreciated.

Tonight if I remember to get up at 3 or 4 in the morning Im rolling out in my rental car to get my new c8! Just a 10 hour driving day if I miss most of the traffic...no traffic and this is an epic adventure. With bumper to bumper not so much...i can say beautiful weather if a bit chilly starting out in the low forties already.

Thank you for the well wishes.

Hopefully you have all season tires if your driving in 40*F temps.

Have a good trip, looking forward to the photos.
