2015 Roof pins and striker plates replacement

Purchased these new parts to try and repair my noisy top (in hot temps) as per the service bulletin.
Question: How does the molding on the top of the windshield come off in order to access the striker plate fasteners?
I’ve done a bit of prying but get no type of release.
Don’t want to damage any trim pieces.
Does anyone have a how to repair sheet?
Any help appreciated.

HI there,

Unfortunately, you will have to remove the A pillar trim, drivers side knee bolster, both sunshades, rear view mirror and then pop the trim off to access it.

Be careful of the wiring, its no fun!
