Default Where are the Headlight Adjusters?

Hello Everyone. Recently, I installed a set of LED headlights in my 2001 Corvette Coupe. I now realize how grossly maladjusted my originals were after lowering the car. Now, the lights just don't throw out there far enough. I believe all is good with the installation. Bulbs are seated in the housing properly. It seems that I need to adjust them up a bit. I have searched many forums and scoured the web but it seems that our favorite picture hosting site has taken the pics of the adjusters down from our favorite sites. Can anyone steer me in the right direction to help locate those adjusters? Just out of curiosity, is one of them just below the low beam headlight that I just installed? Thank you in advance for your help. You all ROCK!

Take the plastic shield surrounds off the headlight assemblies with the lights up and you should be able to see the adjusters. I believe one is facing towards the hood with a long adjuster if I remember correctly. I did it years ago, I'll try to look at mine tomorrow.

Ok, I checked this morning. The adjusters are inside the headlight assembly. There is a round plastic cover you can remove on the plastic surround facing the hood, but I would just remove the whole plastic surround with the 3 Phillips screws so you can see how it works. Use a magnetic screwdriver AND hold onto the screws as you remove and install them, they drop into places you will never access, I know the hard way. With the cover removed, look in from the hood side (right side) of the headlight assembly and you will see 2 brass or copper looking torks 15 star adjusters. The top one looks to be side to side adjustment, and the lower one should be up and down. All this is done with the headlight bucket in the up position obviously. Good luck with it.
