    Default OEM Brake Pads

For "daily driving" purposes, is there any compelling reason to upgrade my C5's brake pads? I put on better pads for autocross and HPDE/PDX events, but I'm reluctant to spend extra money to replace the OEM pads for street use.

If you wanted you could run ceramics for less brake dust/cleaning. Other than that, I think the oem's a pretty pricy. So there's a couple of reasons.

Shorter braking distance is another reason to switch. I use Performance Friction's Max Performance Carbon Metallic pads.
