Paul,
Hey Paul you moved. Are you trying to get away from me and my problems?
I'm still getting a check engine light. I'm still getting the po137 code I got at funfest 2010. You said it was one of two things, it was either the rear O2 sensor or the cat on bank one. You changed the O2 sensor at funfest '10 and that didn't help. Over the winter I replaced the drivers side cat and I still got the po137 code. When you scanned it this year you said it was the passenger side O2 sensor. I bought and installed one and am still getting the po137 code. I've changed both rears now. When I checked my service manual I found po137 code is bank one rear sensor. I'm confused, isn't that driver side? I've done every thing you recommended and I'm still getting the dreaded codes. What's next? The car runs fine and I know it isn't fixing the problem but would o2 simulators alleviate my problem? I have another problem that just sprung up. I'm getting a 28TCS C1296H code. I would love to drive the car and not get any codes. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks JD

Have you checked to see if you have an exhaust leak upstream of the O2 sensors?

Why does C4C5 address some questions and not others, especially ones purposely addressed to him? I don't think I did anything to pi** him off. I posted the same questions on that other site back in Sept. and got no answers. I even sent him a couple PM's with no reply. I thought this new site would be different.

Maybe he is a very busy man and only answers questions when he has the free time to do so.

There's no maybe about it. I know he's a busy man, with work, the seminars he gives, & family, but I posted on the other site back In Sept. Don't get me wrong I value Paul, I've been to a number of his seminars and he's worked on my car. He impresses me at every one of his seminars. He is one smart cookie so please don't take this the wrong way. I just need answers to my questions.

C4C5 can't do everything all the time ...try as he might...maybe he missed the question? Maybe he is researching the answer?

It's great to have a guy like Paul to answer questions for us as they arise. I am sure he is busy and I am sure he has no issues with you. He has a huge amount of knowledge to share that is for sure. We are all gratefull he is willing to offer advice at no cost. We have all given praise to him at one time or another.

He may be losing interest, who knows, life is full of cycles. Maybe one day we will figure it all out.

C4C5 specialist is a long time friend and I can assure you that if he had the answer and or did not have something more pressing he would gladly give you advice.

Please take note of the time of day c4c5 came to the site. C4C5 specialist does the best he can to help everyone equally whenever possible. It is unfortunate at this time the other fine techs do not have an answer to you question.

Have you tried googling the main part of your question? Maybe the answer has been answered in the past.

Please do not take it personally. I don't have an answer on your corvette question for you either.

C4C5 is a gentleman and a person that if at all possible gladly lends a helping hand.

Have a nice evening.

JB
