Has any one bought the Kwik Lift and is it a good lift for working?

I have not used one, but by just looking at it and seeing it in operation, it looks like more work than it is worth. I don't think you can drive over it, you have to move and store it each time it is used. Lots of wiring and hydraulic hoses to get in your way for storage and set up, plus they would get in your way when working under the vehicle. You have less space to work under your vehicle than 4 jack stands as it takes up more space. I think a quality floor jack and 4 stands would be quicker and easier myself. Just my opinion.

I know a couple of people using https://www.quickjack.com/ They like it. But, it is a bit of a pain to have to move the lifts and hydraulics around. One guy leaves his car up on it for winter.
The Kwik lift is a stationary piece of steel with no electric or hydraulics involved. The cost seems fair and you can leave it and park on it You must be thinking of the quick jack which is a thosand dollars cheaper.

The wheels do not have to come off! You drive up on lift and place a jack in rear and bar rotates and it is a safe operation. You can leave car on lift if you like! The cost for shipping to ct is $400.00 thats why i am looking for a used one in new england. Just found one a grand can not get until spring because car is on it but a second one would be nice.
No electrics, air supply, hydraulics,to break. No chasing supplier for parts and no $800.00 installer fees . They do i believe have a bridge for jacking wheels. What do you think is better you worked in the field long enough! Thanks
They both have their down sides, the Kwik Lift is bulkier and you have to park the vehicle at an angle every time you park it unless you want to jack up the rear of the vehicle every time you park or use the vehicle, or break it down and store all the parts somewhere until you need it. I like it's work height though, and it's simplicity as you stated.
The other one is simpler to set up and store, but you will have to work around the hoses and electrics but it doesn't get the vehicle in the air any higher than jack stands.
Both of them require you to bend over, get on your knees and set them up every time, so in my opinion I think I would just use a high lift jack and quality tall jack stands. JMHO.![]()
