Default 96 Air Conditioning Vents Will Not Blow Air

I have a 96 Vette LT1. The Dash vents will not blow any air. The top & Bottom foot vents do blow cold air.

    What could it be?

    HI there,

Your vacuum source check valve under your passenger side fuel injector cover is either broken or disconnected from the engine.

Paul, I replaced the check valve under the fuel rail cover but no change.
Could it be the control box under the dash? Can you tell me if other GM cars used the same unit? like a roadmaster or Caddy?
That way I can go to Pull-A-Part and get one out of a buick or caddy.
I think there are 5 solenoids in my unit.

    HI there,

I would first attempt to test the vacuum going into the actual programmer.

This way, you will know you have correct vacuum source to programmer.

There is a controller under the dash that is a combination of vacuum and electric bits, A solder joint on that controller board often goes bad. Do more google research. I had a 1994 lt4.
